Covey Church, O'Brien County, Iowa

Built in 1874, it is the oldest church building in O'Brien County. Named for Rev. John Covey, the parish was originally Congregational before becoming Methodist. It is now preserved as an historic landmark with services being conducted once a year by the neighboring Sutherland United Methodist Church. Located 7 miles south of Hartley, Iowa.
