YBN630V Leyland Leopard - a photo on Flickriver

            Plaxton Supreme Express C53F bodied Leyland Leopard PSU3E/4R is depicted operating for the Birminghan Coach Company. Its previous operator was Stevensons and it is seen here visiting their Spath depot in 1991. BCC also operated sister vehicle YBN629V. These vehicles were new to Lanchashire United Transport in 1979 and were delivered in the Starsky & Hutch style Red & Yellow  GMPTE inspired coach livery as seen above. Livery application required the deletion of the standard Supreme brightwork.
After service with LUT both 629 & 630 operated for Stevensons before moving on  to BCC.Throughout this period they retained their original red & yellow striped livery.
By 1990 YBN629V had been sold to a Sussex operator and far as asI recall  YBN630V followed about 12 months later.
