Reflecting on a Cathedral Sky - a photo on Flickriver

            One of the things I miss most about hiking in the High Sierra is the deep blue skies.  The higher you climb, the deeper they get.  I captured this in the meadow above Upper Cathedral Lake, not far from the John Muir Trail, between Tuolumne Meadows and Yosemite Valley.  I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I"ll be able to make a trip out west later this summer.  Last year was the first year in my life where I didn't spend at least some time in Yosemite.  It's in my blood.

Thanks very much for sticking with me while I've been away.  This has been a wild year, with the pandemic making my day job require literally twice as much work as before.
