58003 "Markham Colliery" Toton TMD 28 06 2006

            A very forlorn looking Bone 58003 awaiting its fate in the Works demic sidings, viewed from the Derby Canal entrance.

It had been a parts donor for a while having been withdrawn in 1999 after only a 16 years working life.

Scrapped in 2013 after the need for spares ended.

This was because the stored French contract bones at Alizay were so vandalised by copper thieves they would never work again.
