Köln Hbf - a photo on Flickriver

Köln Hbf

            View of the front side of Köln Hauptbahnhof, the main station of the largest city of the German western state of North Rhine-Westphalia; Cologne.

What really got my attention in that station, there no bars or checkpoints, you just get your ticket and board. The platforms are widely open.

There’s some in-voyage random check in long distance trains, but not always and for few passengers; randomly.

In fact, I haven’t seen a single bar or a checkpoint in many stations I’v been through within Germany including the local city trams and that’s a real sign of  people’s honesty and integrity.
