In quiet moments

            I've been travelling to Bedford every day for the last week or so working with primary school pupils to make a large scale 10th anniversary mosaic.
Today I'd finished my work at lunchtime and visited nearby Bromham Mill on my way home.
I had a solo exhibition of my batiks here around 1995 and it was good to visit again, but sadly the gallery is no more.
There is though a very fine restaurant and on a day that had started with me scraping frost on my windscreen, it was all the more pleasant to sit in the sunshine to eat lunch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
