Hilltop Grain (final Edit) - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken on a bright day last year, this wonderful windmill stands proud overlooking her countryside. ND filters allowed a 30 sec exposure as the clouds drifted past. I used 14mm from low down in a muddy field. The basic image was missing something, so I have added textures for the first time. One texture is bark, the other is heavy grain from Lightroom. The colour was de-saturated and filled with warm orange / yellow colour, using Photoshop overlay (very basic).
I hope the image conveys a timeless feel and brings a sense of movement to a once common sight.
