Shadowed Tower Door V3 - a photo on Flickriver

            This is V3 of 3 increasingly close crops (10x15). I could not decide which I liked best, so I posted all 3 at once. Please let me know if you have a favorite. 

The subject is the door to the bell tower stairs of the small, old St. Chrischona Church. The bright, late-afternoon springtime light produced beautiful, strong shadows.

Maybe the striking collection of shadows is the real subject of the images. 

Location: St. Chrischona Church, in the upper settlement of the Village of Bettingen BS Switzerland.
