Well, it's not what I wanted... - a photo on Flickriver

            After a great day of operating at La Crosse's RiverRail model railroad event, I set out of photograph Amtrak's Empire Builder, knowing that this train has been hosting a number of the new Siemens Chargers of late.  

That being the case, I hit the trail, braved ALL of the mosquitos (OMG, there were so many there. For real.), and got this shot of Amtrak no. 7 pulling into La Crosse at a location called Medary.  I know that I was hoping for the new units, but just last week, I was having a conversation with Pump in KC about how there will come a time in the not-too-distant future where we'll be actively hunting the remaining Genesis units, so I guess I should be happy to get these while I can.
