optimist - explore #5 - a photo on Flickriver

            Three degrees celcius, light snow, the dock out for the winter, and he still wants to go swimming.  That's what I call an optimist.

**explore**. Thanks for all of the comments, faves and views that have pushed this into explore. Since many people here are seeing Oliver for the first time I thought I should introduce him. He's our 9 year old golden that we've called "Mr. Happy" ever since he was a puppy.  This August he had a hind limb amputation for osteosarcoma. He's had an amazing recovery and was even back swimming and jumping off the dock within a month. Without treatment life expectancy would have been 3-4 months. With treatment he's still awesome, happy, and doing everything he could do before. He's been an inspiration to us all.
