24-52 Eva: surveillance - a photo on Flickriver

            Eva on high surveillance on the dock.  

Every time I think she is getting more trust worthy with age I'm reminded that she can be crafty like a fox.  Or maybe it's more that sometimes she doesn't give a fox what we say when she has other plans.  

Shortly after this shot of her on the dock she tried to run past me to take a high speed adventure across the wet muddy grounds with no intention of listening.  Less than a minute after I carried her back up to the deck about thirty geese flew by in with more honking than a New York traffic jam.  I guess I'm lucky that we got off the dock when we did as it would have been a cold morning swim after her in my full clothes if the geese had come by two minutes earlier.
