8-12 Eva: Summer

            Eva: Dave, let's get back in the water!
Dave: In a minute. I just wanted to take a minute to pause on the dock.
Eva: Dude, why pause when we can swim?
Dave: Seriously? You don't even spend your time swimming.
Eva: That offends me. I'm wet and therefore I swam.
Dave: That's a bit of a weak argument. It wouldn't hold true in the rain or shower.
Eva: Well, we're not talking about either of those situations here. What I do is definitely swimming.
Dave: You do jump in and swim a bit. But then you spend most of your time shoving your nose in the water, shoreline, and bushes smelling for fish, frogs, and waterfowl.
Eva: Don't forget toads. Those guys smell extra good. And besides that, my method is the best way to swim. Didn't they teach you that in human swim classes?
Dave: Um, no. They just taught us how to actually swim.
Eva: Then you have some serious learning to do. Follow me and get a nose full of everything around you. It really enhances the whole swim experience.
Dave: I think I'm good. 
Eva: What you call good I call limited. You haven't lived until you snarfle a toad. So let's stop chatting and start swimming!

The fourth and final shot in Eva's seasonal shots. This photo interrupted a swimming session long enough to take the photo on the dock. The sun was way harsher than for the other shots so she has quite the squint here. I may choose to reshoot it on a cloudy day in the future, but her she is in all of her soaking wet glory.
