The Series II Jaguar E type was introduced in 1966 for the 1967 model year. With a number of design changes, largely due to U.S. National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration mandates. The new car now featured open headlights, rocker style switches, collapsible steering column, key rather than button start, and raised bumpers. Other hallmarks of Series 2 cars are a wrap-around rear bumper, larger front indicators and tail lights re-positioned below the bumpers, and an enlarged grille and twin electric fans to aid cooling

Available as a FHC (Fastback Coupe), OTS (Roadster) or a 2=2 ( 2+2 fastback coupé)
