Based on the Mark IV Ford Zodiac the Dorchester was built by coach builders Coleman and Milne selling primaraly to Councils, and the Wedding and Funeral Trades. The Dorchester Limousine conversion allows for an extra row of seats, bringing capacity to seven passengers, in comfort.

Last of the all British big Fords, and top of the Zephyr range, quad headlights marks the Zodiac/Executive from the Zephyr 4/6, floor shift and power steering standard and a three litre engine against the 2.5 litre of the Zephyr 6. Also produced as an Estate a few Crayford convertables and the Police ran a small number of experimental 4WD's.
There was also the 3022E Executive which topped of the Zodiac line up and offered the highest specification of any 1960's British Ford

This particular car was purchased by its current owner, of E-bay, in 2004, for £ 560, formerly a Flintshire based car, it has since undergone a four year restoration
