Light Pond, Heathcote Botanical Gardens

            This pond of Christmas lights (net lights, with flowers made of string lights was assembled during the day, then modified a bit at night.  It'll be up one more night, then taken down until Thanksgiving.  It'll then run, along with other light features, on Friday and Saturday evenings until New Year.

This photo shows a big heron that replaced a swan during the evening evaluation.  A dark shadow across the middle of the pond is a camera tripod. 

In the rear is the main electric flower bed.  All the lights are LED, which essentially make the project possible by drawing very little current, not putting stress on the garden's electrical system.
