1955 Cooper-JAP T36 - a photo on Flickriver

1955 Cooper-JAP T36

            Pictured is a 1955 Cooper 500 / Mk IX / T36 that is currently on display at the Caister Castle Car Collection.

The only information given about the car is that it competed at the Shelsley Walsh hillclimb event in the hands of Jim Elsey.

It must have a fairly recent competition history as that roll-over hoop in not original and has been added at a later point in time.

I've gone through my Cooper books and tried to find out some more information but can't come up with anything else about this particular car or driver.

Pictured in July 2017 at the Caister Castle Car Collection, Norfolk.
