FDT #349 (graveyard) - a photo on Flickriver

            There is not that much of snow. Most of it fell early in the morning when it temperature was still above zero. After that temperature went down a bit and it froze.

This was shot mainly in the moonlight. The decorative lights in the tree on the back didn't really illuminate much. The shadows are pretty much where something was blockin teh moonlight. There was not a lot of light. This is 15 second exposure at f/2 and I even made it a bit lighter in post processing. Technically there is something like 130000 times more light on a sunny day in summer.

I was going to leave colour to this, but it somehow didn't work very well. B&W looked somewhat better, so I left it like that.

This was shot with Helios-44-2 58 mm f/2 lens (or Гелиос-44-2 2/58 as it says on the front) that was probably built 1987 in the soviet union. Then I took it a part a some weeks ago and cleaned the oily aperture blades and many other things and relubed the focusing helicoids and aperture mechanisms and rebuilt it. I'm not totally sure if it could be adjusted to be optically better... I might have even made the optics worse (even though the mechanics work better now) asn I had to partially disassemble the optical block too. However it doesn't probably matter because of the modification I have planned for it. Now it's still pretty much stock, but I bought it with the intention to modify it.
