An Orange Rose - Preston - a photo on Flickriver

            I took an afternoon stroll in the spring sunshine the other week, and I walked past this beautiful old fashioned orange, lightly fragrant, rose which is growing in a beautifully maintained garden of an Art Deco villa.  The Italian woman whose roses these are takes great pride in her show of blooms every year.  Bathed in spring sunshine the vibrant bloom was too beautiful not to photograph.

Spring has finally come to Melbourne, and everywhere, gardens are bursting forth with beautiful coloured blooms in a profusion of colours after a wetter than usual winter.
