            37178 was delivered new to Cardiff Canton in October 1963 and was renumbered from D6878 to 37178 in April 1974. It was transferred to Eastfield in 1982 before moving to Stratford in 1987 and was withdrawn from traffic in 2005 and heading to Booths at Rotherham for disposal but was then removed from Booths and worked for Harry Needle Railway Company for a short while (from Barrow Hill)  and then taken on by Network Rail and renumbered 97303 for deprtmental use. 

37073 was delivered new to Thornaby in September 1962 as D6773 before being renumbered to 37073 in February 1974. It was allocated to several depots in it's career and ended up at Toton from where it was stored in April 1999. Later that year it headed to France but was back in the UK a year later due to collision damage and it was then sent to Wigan for component recovery before final disposal in April 2003 by Rileys in bury.
