LEGO HOME ONE 1375 : 1 scale - a photo on Flickriver

            This is my first attempt of the famous Star Cruiser HOME ONE - Commandship of the Rebel Alliance in Return Of The Jedi.

The HOME ONE was way to long on my to-do-list, but after finishing the MC75 Instructions and finding some confidence in building organic, curved shapes for the previous MonCal ship I think the time now has come.

By not using technic panels it took at least for the narrow nose area some more thinking. Not to mention, some parts avaiability is not that promising...

Despite the challenging shape (which I managed with various segments a a lot of hinges and swivels) the progress I archived in less then 2 weeks kept me surprising. Fingers crossed that I maintain the building speed.

Also, credits for a stunning Inspiration by Raskolnikov who tackled this ship some time ago (in a larger scale).
