Stormy Sunday night - a photo on Flickriver

            At last, after a few months of uncharacteristically dry, storm-free weather, Singapore had a night of spectacular thunder and lightning on Sunday. My viewpoint looks west and it was clear that much of the action was happening to the south, but I caught some of the action from the edges of the storm -- most of which was sheet lightning (some as bright as day), but there were some nice cloud-to-ground strikes like this blue and pink one.
