Wilson Primitive Baptist Church 3 - Dodgetown, NC

            Within Stokes County is the Sauratown Mountains. Although Dodgetown is not very close to the mountains, the area is quite hilly. Walking back up from where the outhouse was located, I shot this photo of the Wilson Primitive Baptist Church graveyard, up on a rise. This whole area was interesting but, at the same time, a bit forbidding. This is a purely subjective observation. Apart from being radically out of touch with modern times, Lisa found nothing that unusual about the place. Maybe it was the roosters that kept screaming from property next door to the church that colored my frame of mind.
