How to travel by bus and Underground like a Parisian - RATP (Comment Voyage en bus et en métro comme un Parisien - RATP) Paris autobus & Metro brochure, illustrated by G Redon, c1955

            The double sided folder issued bu the RATP, probably in the mid-1950s given the artists' date of '55, and with a cover illustarted by one of their favourite artist/designers, Georges Redon. It is a fascinating take on the operation of Paris's bus and Metro system with memories of forgotten things susch as the bus conductor 'calling your number' to board and the "Sceaux Line". The illustrations also capture the idiosyncratic designs of Paris's bus stops, rear platform buses of glorious memory and Sprague train sets.
