0-4-0DH No.3 (YE 2679/1962) Halewood Car Plant. Merseyside. 1993.

            Yorkshire Engine Co. 0-4-0DH No.3 was one of three 0-4-0DH's built by YEC that worked the internal railway at the Ford Motor Co. Halewood Works from 1976 until 2000. The locomotives had been obtained secondhand from South Yorkshire Chemicals Ltd and formerly worked at Parkgate Chemical Works, Rotherham, they had been bought to replace two older and smaller Ruston diesel shunters.
0-4-0DH No.3 is seen here shunting a single German registered IVA ferry van in the Transmission Plant building at Halewood.
