Oyster Catcher's Solo Dive. EIGER passes under Merwede Bridge.

            ► █░▓  ≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈  VIGILIA, 135 meters 11 meters wide inland motor freighter sailing under the flag of Netherlands has now overtaken EIGER and passes De Avelingen nature resort on her right side. Heavy EIGER right under the bridge. To the right is a vessel I have yet to identify. At the moment of publishing this (3 August 2025), VIGILIA is moored in Antwerpen, Belgium. EIGER is underway to Switzerland between Cologne and Bonn in Germany. When she reaches her destination in Basel, she will be much closer to real Eiger🌄 😉.

EIGER captured from ca.~600 m distance on my walk along the left shore of the Boven Merwede river over Natuurgebied Sleeuwijkerwaard (the nature resort) in North Brabant.

Lumix G90 / Lumix 12-35 mm f2.8. —At 35mm (70mm full frame equivalent) and f4,5 aperture priority. Shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. This is a sooc jpeg edited in Apple Photos 10.0, cropped to 21×9 and exported as 16-bit tiff.
