Svetlana, the Pride of our January Festive Mood

► ▓░█    .........Svetlana was readily enthusiastic about my proposition to try out a portrait, and her enthusiasm immediately showed in the viewfinder. The camera loves her as she radiates good will. Let us all follow in her footsteps!

When I acquire a new lens, its first true test is in a portrait trial where I can see how it performs on the eyes and the skin colour. In this case, it's my developing from raw that failed with the skin color, and not the lens. I might try developing one more time on another monitor screen. This was taken on the occasion of a post-liturgical socialising in the Holy Trinity parish of S.O.C. in Rotterdam.

֍ ֎⃣   G9, Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 at 35mm, aperture priority at f/2.8, 1/125 sec handheld. 1 stop overexposed in the shade, ISO 200, WB auto. Developed from RAW and edited in Affinity Photo 2.4 whereby I resisted the urge to further sharpen the result. The sooc jpeg is sharper.
