Mixing Colors of the Red-Blue-Hour Sunset Glow

            FIRMLY TAKING COURSE towards Beneden Merwede. Behind the Undine V ship is Merwelanden island that wedges into Boven Merwede to make the significant bifurcation. To the left is the left river branch that from that point on gets the name "Nieuwe Merwede". Far right is the "village" Boven Hardinxveld which overlooks shipyards in Werkendan on the other side, and the tip of the island that divides the river. Merwede is the largest and busiest branch of Rhein river in the delta which it forms upon entering the Netherlands from Germany.

It's difficult to recreate the elusive moments of dusk at the river just before and after the sunset. The editing software suggests pushing the levels and contrast as if it were broad daylight, and you have to resist the temptation. I am quite satisfied however how it turned out here, but I did spend a lot of time with sliders and curves. This is taken a short minute after the previous capture, thus exactly 10 minutes before the true sunset at 301°☼.
