Stopping The Stop Train - a photo on Flickriver

            DO NOT TRY! IT'S FASTER THAN YOU THINK!

► █░▓    FOR OBVIOUS REASON the Dutch call their local train "a stop train". It's a village perspective. It stops there where an Intercity doesn't. For many years all the trains belonged to the national railways and were yellow. Times have changed. National railways have lost some sections. My trust too. Three decades ago it was one of the best running systems in the world. Not any more. However, the infra-structure is still there. Some colors are altered, though. 

I tried to freeze this stop train coming ahead at me. It was rushing to the local station a couple hundred meters behind my back, but it wouldn't stop. 

This is the first shot I made in the town with my newly acquired Olympus E-M1, the little gem with a rather outdated sensor. One sure sign of becoming a Flickr pro, is uploading the test shots in order to tease the fellow members. 

ISO 100, AWB, Aperture priority, F/6.3, ½ second handheld. Overexposed ⅓ of a stop.  Olympus OM-D E-M1, Lumix 20 mm f/1.7 II "pancake" prime.  Developed from raw and edited in Affinity Photo 2.0
