Slavija major crossroads & roundabout

            ТЕШКО ЈЕ ПОВЕРОВАТИ, али ово је на самој 'Славији' - најпрометнијој раскрсници у центру Београда. Име родоначалника србске нације и државе (по којем је улица добила име), ни мало не одвраћа вандале од чисте и ничим ометане деструкције животног амбијента.

► █░▓    URBAN VANDALISM in the heart of Serbian capitol at the busiest Belgrade's crossroads, the 'Slavija' roundabout. Even the name of nation's founder, Stefan Nemanja after whom this street is named, does not deter the vandals in ruining their home town. It is, among many others, a strong indication too of a total absence of public services coordination in city's maintenance and incompetence in keeping public order.

Panasonic DMC-G80 with its proprietary, "lesser" kit lens, 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 (thus not the marginally faster Leica one with the same focal range). At it's 'normal' 23 mm (equiv. of 46 mm in 35 mm film). Aperture f/4.3 in low light. Underexposed one third of a stop. 
Handheld at the classical 1/60 of a sec. shutter speed, ISO 640. The short-lived December sun is long set behind the horizon at the time of this snapshot.

Out-of-the-camera jpeg, slightly darkened, compressed and sharpened in commendable IrfanView to resemble the actual atmosphere of the moment.
