            НЕПОСРЕДНО ПО ЗАЛАСКУ сунца контраст је недовољан за интересантну причу. Прибегавање драматичном филтеру малог Олимпуса помаже да се врати ефекат који „види око“.

ДОБРИ ДÔ, ДУРМИТОР. Некада нам је ово био потпуно неприступачан, недоступан крај... Отварао се погледу са чаробног Тројног превоја и Пруташа. До краја осамдесетих у Добром долу још није било асфалта него уска стара мулатерија која је водила ка Пиви, и даље ка Херцеговини и Босни. А студентски џепови плитки, па је све остајало у машти. Ноћили смо у биваку у Калици, на Валовитом долу или у Шкрки. Слушали смо Церовићеве приче и гледали старе слике у његовој кући на Иван долу. Зурили у овај крас и даље ка плаветнилима над морем, сатима сами на врху Боботовог Кука. Замишљали Драгишницу и Бољске Греде као највећу дивљину, којима се никад нећемо примаћи. Што она и јесте била, али је срећом и остала, до дана данашњег. Једино је доњи ток Сушице забаченији крај. Драгишницу сам, ипак, прошао на Огњену марију 2017. године захваљујући Милану Стијеповићу.
-Дурмитору се враћам сваке године. Изузетак је била 2020.

► █░▓    HIGH UP ABOVE ŠAVNIK, DOBRI DO - The shortest way to reach the heart of Durmitor is the so-called Ringway (Durmitorski Prsten), 82 km in length, which, when followed clockwise, gets you from Žabljak to Sedlo pass (1907 m) quickly by car. The pass remains out of the scope of this shot, it lies next to the slopes just outside the left edge. 
This one is the most frequented of the five passages in total that surpass 1900 m elevation on this incredible round trip. Most of the hikers actually start from Sedlo pass for their climb of Bobotov kuk (2522 m), the highest point of Durmitor. They usually leave their vehicle on a small shelter of this high pass to save themselves some altitude and distance. On the way back, this is what they get to see. 
Not so long ago, before the old mulattiera had been advanced into the asphalt road, everybody would start the climb from the other side, from lake Crno jezero at an altitude of 1420 m. Most of the hikers nowadays head towards the highest peak region climbing the steep first step of Uvita Greda (2199 m, here right behind my back) and proceed.
One of the first summer days in 2017 saw me and Đoko there just before the sunset. When the sun has already set, this wonderful scene presented itself before my eyes. The contrast was already gone and what I got in the viewfinder was a dull result missing zest. Switching to E-M10's drama filter hit the right balance and I got this image, here with no further editing whatsoever. In this camera you use these filters at the cost of missing raw file, which I can live with.
This is one of thé magical places on earth to me. I always feel a sort of hushed low fever there. Especially enchanting is the beginning of Dragišnica valley, carved out by the stream of the same name - see the mid-right half of this image. These slopes are where Dragišnica's waters start off. Back in the days of my youth this part of Durmitor was much less accessible than today and we just observed it - stunned by beauty - from Bobotov Kuk and Prutaš peaks. But the sturdy old cobblestone road leading all the way to Foča - rough bumpy and unpaved as it was - bear witness to the times of 150 years ago and before, when this whole region still belonged to Old Herzegovina province. Sustainable throughout the centuries with no tourism!
