Dal giardino di Villa Monastero - From Villa Monastero's garden

            Villa Monastero si trova a Varenna, sul lago di Como. Antico convento e poi dimora nobiliare, è stata trasformata oggi in un centro congressi: una delle sale è dedicata ad Enrico Fermi, che qui tenne alcune lezioni. 
La villa possiede un lungo parco prospiciente il lago, da cui si può ammirare un bel panorama sulla penisola di Bellagio.

Villa Monastero is located in Varenna, on Como’s Lake (Northern Italy). It was in the past a monastery and then a nobiliary residence: today, it is congressual center. 
The Villa has a wide park all along the lake, from which it is possible to see a good view on Bellagio’s peninsula.
