La Galleria degli Specchi - The Gallery of Mirrors

            La Galleria degli Specchi si trova all'interno del Palazzo Ducale di Mantova. 
Costruita originariamente come una loggia aperta (fine 500/inizio 600), venne poi trasformata in una galleria ed affrescata sulle volte intorno al 1618. 
Tra il 1773 e il 1779 venne decorata con grandi specchi (parzialmente visibili sulla parete a sinistra) da cui ha preso il nome.

The Gallery of Mirrors is located inside the Ducal Palace of Mantua (Italy). 
Originally built as an open loggia (late 16th/early 17th century), it was then transformed into a gallery and frescoed on the vaults around 1618. 
Between 1773 and 1779 it was decorated with large mirrors (partially visible on the left wall) from which it got the name.
