my old T-shirts - a photo on Flickriver

my old T-shirts

            Sakura Japanese restaurant. What a great place this was, located in Columbia's first "modern" shopping center, built about 1958. (Nobody used the word "mall" at that time.). I got this Tshirt in about 2012, and tried not to wear it so much that washing would fade the color. Sadly, in October 2015 we had an unbelievable flood (500 year event) that ruined the restaurant, along with many other businesses and homes. Sakura reopened, actually just a few blocks away from us, and there was great celebration and joy when they did. We've been back a few times, but it's not like the original, that's for sure.
