Canadian Pacific Westbound at Cisco, British Columbia

            11.45 am and a quartet of CP power is captured heading west along the Fraser River in British Columbia with a Merchandise Train.

Canadian Pacific and Canadian National have an agreement called -Directional Running which means that both railroads share the same rails for both Eastbound and Westbound movements through the canyon. This CP consist is running on its own tracks having just crossed over from the south shore to the north shore. In the distance is the Canadian National bridge which today will see Eastbound freighters cross from the south shore to the northern shore. I have visited this spectaculars location on 4 occasions and normally Eastbounds are seen on CP trackage, so this quite a rare shot for me.
