Roaring Run Falls

            I finally had an opportunity to put the Sigma 35mm f1.2 through its trials. I have 35mm covered by the Sony 24-105 f4 and the Zeiss 16-35 f4 and hence whenever I go for a longer hike, the heavy Sigma 35mm f1.2 gets left at home. Not this time however and it really comes to its own with superior rendering, micro contrast and corner to corner sharpness when compared to the two zoom lenses. The image just pops. For those on the fence, looking at getting this lens, zoom in to 100% and look at the rich details this lens can provide. There is simply no comparison and I will be taking this wonderful lens with me next time too. This used the be the lens I craved for, then it became the lens that was left at home and now it has become a favorite lens wherever I go. I do recommend a gym membership :)
