KewauneeCo Trails 002 - a photo on Flickriver

            The 50-mile-long Ahnapee State Trail -- a "rails to trails" conversion -- connects Kewaunee, Luxemburg, Casco, Algoma and Sturgeon Bay. The trail, with a firm limestone surface, is open to hikers, bikers, horseback riders during the spring, summer and fall months and in winter its occupied by cross country skiers and snowmobilers.

Kewaunee County's Reckelberg Park is located along the trail near Luxemburg, providing a place where trail users can start or take a break along their journey.

Ryan Park, a few miles west of Kewaunee, is best known as Kewaunee County's soccer park, but the, on donated land, holds a wooded network of mountain biking and hiking trails on mixed terrain. During the winter, these trails are used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
