Mess-Ikonta 524/16, Removing the Topcover (01)

            Zeiss Ikon Mess-Ikonta 524/16. German 6x6 folder produced between 1952 and 1957.

This camera is a bit dirty and needs a good clean. Reasons enough to be curious and remove the Topcover to see what goodie-goodies are inside :-)

Start by removing the screw (see red arrow) in center of the Winder Knob. Turn ccw.
As the head of this screw is in full sight it's really important to use a well fitting screwdriver to diminish the chances of a slipping tool and resulting scars on the camera.
