Nevada Buck Moth (Hemileuca nevadensis) caterpillars

            Just learned that they go through different molts as caterpillars, called instars. So these are early instar buck moth caterpillars. They sting, be careful.

I have others in my photostream that I know now are later instar development. I returned and checked on these guys twice a week to confirm.
