            Doubling up on the two weekly challenges as this fitted the bill for both...and like everyone else at this time of year, I am short of time.

This is my favourite tree, I love it best in the winter.  I thought it would be nice for the two challenges so waited for a good day. We took Bruno for a walk in the field where we met a couple of people out for a walk. They told us that someone had been trying to get planning permission to build here but fortunately, for the moment, it's not happening. I would hate for this beautiful tree and wonderful open space to disappear. You can see for miles from this spot and I never tire of going there to take a photo.
