12/31: We don't just eat nuts you know

            Day 12 for October: A month in 31 pictures.

We arrived in Boston yesterday, our apartment is fabulous but I'm glad we bought a kettle as there is just a coffee maker here too. There seems to be a herd of elephants living above us but at least they don't appear to be nocturnal!

We went to Boston public gardens today in the hope of seeing some amazing autumn colours, unfortunately after a mild spell of weather the trees are only just beginning to turn so there are only a few here and there with gorgeous colours. It could be worse though, they could all be green still. I managed to get a shot or two (I used one for my 365) and then came across this squirrel who had just unwrapped a discarded sandwich and was tucking into his afternoon tea.

We visited the Cheers bar this evening...well, it had to be done. We ate there and I had a pumpkin beer...don't knock it until you've tried it, it was delicious.
