Honey bee drinking aquilegia nectar - a photo on Flickriver

            The flower is an Aquilegia (also known variously as Columbine, Grandmother's Bonnet).

One of my earliest successes with a macro lens (I'd got my first one less than 2 months prior), and I was really happy with how it came out. Was mostly luck to be honest - especially as I was using flash with little idea how not to wreck my images with it.

That all being said, it has stood the test of time and is one of my favourites still. So I have reprocessed it to bring it in line with my current abilities, with a view to printing/selling.
