Storm Over the Talkeetna's - a photo on Flickriver

            Rain falls over the Talkeetna Mountains as the northbound freight for Fairbanks leaves Matanuska Junction with three matched EMD's for power. To the west the slowly setting sun was clearing for the rest of our chase north until the train encountered a car of immature kids playing chicken with the train resulting in a long delay at Wasilla. Still a great intro to Alaskan Railroading for the week.
