The People rest not! - a photo on Flickriver

The People's Palace on the corner of Ann and Edward Streets, Brisbane was opened in 1912. It is absolutely a heritage building and well known in its prime position opposite Central Station. It is now permanently closed. I am sure it will eventually be resurrected, thankfully we no longer tear down our heritage buildings. All the details are in the link below.
