Busy day 1. - a photo on Flickriver

Busy day 1.

For some reason, Wednesday proved to be a busy day in our yard. As well as the usual Galahs, Rainbow Lorikeets and Noisy Miners (and the mysterious bird that gives them all a fright and makes them scatter), we had what I believe is this Juvenile Australian Water Dragon wander through. We are probably 300 metres from the nearest creek up a hill so I wouldn't expect this one to come calling and have never seen one in our yard before. It was quite calm and not inclined to run away. And then there were the Sulphurs! Wow!

What a privilege it was today to have these creatures visit us.
