Two figures behind glass. - a photo on Flickriver

Fintan Magee's "Two Figures Behind Glass" is a massive mural in Ipswich, Queensland. Makes your eyes water! Fintan has been described as Australia's Banksy although, try as he might, I am sure he can't paint his murals in secret! These two men are actually described as rail workers (Ipswich was a major railway town, on the first rail line in Queensland in 1865) and the railway workshops is now the Workshops Rail Museum. The effect is of them behind crinkly Arctic Glass of the type commonly used in the windows of Queenslander style homes of which Ipswich has many beautiful examples.

Dedicated to our friend Maybe (May) who lived in Ipswich for many years.
