1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 427 1:18 Diecast by AutoWorld

            The 1967 Impala is one of my favourite cars because of it's restrained, yet sporty appearance, especially the 2 door coupe body style with it's long and sweeping fastback profile. In my opinion, the 1967 Impala has to be the best looking full-size Chevrolet. 

This model is made by AutoWorld and the overall model seems to be a re-released version of the Ertl Authentics which was discontinued a long time ago. It's got a heft and wight to it which is good with a great paint finish, a very detailed 427 cubic inch V8 which I am guessing it's the similar motor from the C2 Corvette making this Impala a special edition. The headlights and the tailights looks realistic enough followed by the grille and other detailing which is modeled accurately. The chrome is fair although in some parts, the badge are simply painted on. The interior is probobly the 2nd best part, other than the exterior which includes a very detailed dashboard and a great looking seats with a seatbelt. The front bucket seats folds too which is a very neat feature complimented with the carpet simulating the real car's interior. The wheels are realisticly modeled with accurate representation of the real thing as far as photo comparisons go and the underbody is probobly one of the best ones i've seen for a 1:18 model. This model is limited edition, but it's newly released which means there's still time to get them and I will if I were you guys as they really are worth the money.
