Redditch Bus stop a little fresh paint required

            When Redditch New Town was started in the 1960's it was conceived as a number of estates with public and private housing, each equipped with schools and shopping/medical centres. A dedicated bus route, largely excluding cars still links these centres, with buses going both ways around the circle which was created. It's still a quick and efficient mass transport system. Many of the bus stops were decorated over the years and you can see two in these photos. They have suffered from the swingeing cuts of recent years  - maybe the contenders in the present General Election could take up their cause?
