I find it very interesting that Elizabeth Frink, who designed both of the lecterns in Covenrty Cathedral, should feature an eagle on one of them and the crucifixion on the other. Was she in effect making an Old Testament lectern and a New Testament Lectern? That's the way it seems to me, anyway.
