Gunwalloe Scales

This shot was sitting in a sequence with my last post. I found it hard to choose between the two. The previous shot has more drama, but this has a weirdly powerful energy in my view. I took it just 10 minutes or so before the other one, when the sun was hidden behind clouds. I didn't have my boots with me, and dancing around in my 'work' shoes I was trying hard not to get too wet. Although that fg water looks deep, you can actually see some stones just underneath the surface.
I particularly like that rock in the center of the frame, and have tried many times to get some good shots of it. It always reflects evening light so nicely, but is shaped in that long triangular way that makes it tough to compose. Although a bit 'heavy' I think the sky balances the rock, and those clouds were just too good to miss. Unfortunately I am busy at home at the moment, and have no time to go out and shoot. Thanks for looking, and especially for the response to my last shot. All thoughts or impressions are very welcome, but no glittery graphics please.
