Corning Flyer - a photo on Flickriver

Corning Flyer

            The California Northern Railroad's Corning Flyer "flies" through Maxwell, California, heading back north to its namesake city. NRE genset CFNR 503 and GP15-1 CFNR 112 are on the point. The crew of the Flyer have turned at Cortena after swapping cars with the Maxwell Turn from Woodland.

Both trains had genset/GP15 combos today. My only regret is that I didn't get there sooner so I could have seen the Geeps leading into Cortena.
